Summer parties

A fun couple of months at Sounds Cotswold involving some lovely events including the mighty Shipfest where we provided all technical production and power distribution. The event raised over £1000 for local charities like Sue Ryder and Maggie's House.

Autumn Events

We've supported quite a few events over the last few months - lots of parties at home through to the fully engineered events such as the band Hard to Handle or the Fairford Fireworks Event.   The weather has made these outdoor events a tad more challenging but it is to be expected given the time of year.

A sustainable country life

It's always a delight to do a show with an organisation that has similar concerns about sustainability and the planet.  We recently provided PA for an event at Thyme where Country Life Executive Editor Giles Kim was chairing a panel discussion about how to develop buildings and gardens sustainably.

Recently....

As a result of the busyness of recent months we've been delighted to order some additional kit for our inventory including extra QSC K12s and the fantastic Klark Teknic KT20BR which is a bluetooth receiver for all those occasions where you want to play back from Spotify and don't want to plug your phone in.

Birthday gig

We were recently working with a lovely family to celebrate a 40th birthday. Fantastic band!  SC provided FOH and monitors all run from the QU24. A coupe of guest acts added to the excitement.

Bio-diversity

Thyme at Southrop have held another of their water meadow events where experts from Plantlife speak about their experience of helping UK grasslands recover from intensive farming.  Did you know that 97% of wild flower meadows have been lost in the UK since the 1970s.

Too Hard to Handle

A bit more rock n' roll than some of our events and we were delighted to be working with Hard to Handle again.  We caught the weather just right for this summer's evening in a pub garden.   The Royal Oak in Andoversford did a super job of looking after us all and the pizzas were epic.

Busy May (be)

The Swan at Thyme (Southrop) held a number of events across the King's Coronation weekend despite the weather.  It turns out that well placed bin bags on speakers do quite a good job of keeping things dry. And of course a load of electrical safety systems in place just to make sure.
